They'll eat Algae & don't get too big. http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/my_photos http://www.geocities.com/s8xi5heh/classic_blue.html http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |

If so, what type? Most algae eaters specialize in certain kinds of algae, and are ineffective with others. You might want to look into either buying an algae eater to fit your algae problem, or just solving the problem without adding fish. Algae can be controlled somewhat by removing its food and light sources, as well as adding live plants to outcompete the algae. This can all be done without changing a fish tank's stock at all. |

I have no idea how to keep really plants, and for now I was not interested in doing so. So what else can I do to stop the algae growth?????? |

The best way to rid yourself of algae is to keep the nutrients at a minimum, and have a handy magnetic glass scraper for the remaining material. There are basically only two types of algae conventional algae fish will eat, anyways. |
