Betta+Oscar Question | |
05311991 Banned Posts: 7 Kudos: 2 Votes: 1 Registered: 05-Jan-2009 | i know bettas as well as Oscars are both agressive fish, i was wondering if they would do well in about a 75G tank so as to have enough room to accomodate the oscar, and then the betta would have more room than a crummy ish bowl.Ive done my research and know they are both aggressive and might scrap a bit.would this be ok.after they found out which was more dominant they could establish territories and such. |

That won't take long, since oscars have a huge growth spurt when they are young. I doubt if it will be weeks before he eats the betta, if the betta isn't fast enough or wise enough to stay hidden.
