Will any of the follow work together? The main one will be blood parrots so ones that will work with them.

-blood parrots
-jewel cichlids (thinkin may be to aggressive, never owned them)
-blue rams
-blue acara
-aspisto grammas
-odessa barbs
-cardinal tetras
-jelly bean parrotfish
-bolivian rams

Any ideas on what to make with these ideas, g/f wants a fishtank and im not to familiar with these types of fish and i dont want problems so help me

to tell u the 100% truth i wouldnt go with the blood parrots id go with a pair of blue acaras and some odessa barbs....... i think u could get away with 1 pair of acaras and about 6 or 8 barbs....

if u have to get the blood parrots id go with 2 of them and 6 or 8 barbs......

One very important thing you have not mentioned is the size of the tank.

Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info

g/f wants a fish tank

I was referring to that part of your question.
If I remember when I replied to that topic and many others lately we are having our biggest heatwave in 100 years and I was getting rather tired lack of sleep for the last few nights.
Some of these fish can become very protective of there area in a tank, eg my Bolivians are afraid of nothing even in a 5ft tank.
The Cardinals are a very peaceful shy fish and I certainly would not put them into a tank with any of those fish.

Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info
