	Are RENA's really that much more quiet?
TopperMcFly Fingerling Posts: 17 Registered: 27-Sep-2006	Are RENA's really that much more quiet? I hear people complain that their bio-wheels are too loud. Well my bio-wheel is dead silent compared to my generic air pump. Are the RENA pumps really almost silent or are they simply "not as load" as cheap pumps. If the difference in noise is night and day then I will spend the money and get RENAS. Thanks

I can't tell they are on unless I get really close to them. I have trouble with my Aquaclear 70 humming...so the Rena's are definitely alot quieter than it. *Kristin*

Its eerie cuz you cant even tell its running without putting your hand on it. All HOBS make quite a bit of noise in comparison.
