try these:

It shouldn't have any problem with goldfish. However, the temperatures suitable for these snails are 78-84F!

Hi,
As was said in one of your other posts...
You are mixing apples and oranges.

The snail prefer a warmer temperature.
The gold fish prefer a much cooler temperature.

The snails eat excess fish food and scraps and very
little algae.
The gold fish will eat anything they can manage, including
terrorizing the snails when opened.

Both put out huge amounts of waste, and in a small tank
that will drive the nitrate reading through the roof.

Rainbowsnails is actually recommending 84F? At that temp a snails lifespan is sped up to the point they only live maybe 6-8months. It's good for temporary breeding setups to get a clutch or 2 before putting them back in a main tank but I'd never suggest keeping a pet snail at over 80F. The temperature of the goldfish tank is not the problem. The problem is the snail will not eat algae and it will die either due to the goldfish attacking it, starvation, or how horrible the water quality is going to get.

Other than that tank being over loaded you have made the problem worse. As Frank stated it can not be done. You MUST fix the cause of all your problems first which is that small tank is well over stocked and totally unsuitable for those gold fish.

Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info
