ATM i have a towel hanging over the front of the tank to keep it nice and dark just incase it can hurt him! oh and 1 more thing, sometimes the girls play the playstation on the same tv,just thought id mention that too. so do you think ether of these can hurt my gt? |

The possible problems are the stress to the fish to have the box with the flashing colors lasting into the night when the tank lights are off. It would be a good idea to rearrange the room so the TV is at the other end, or other side, away from the tank. Obviously, the tank won't be as easy to move as the TV. In fact, I'd go so far as to say the flickering lights are enrichment for your GT. If your fish aren't freaking out when the TV is on, but are hanging out near the light, I'm not concerned. Such a small TV with such a big tank won't cast light throughout the whole tank, so your GT shouldn't have any problem getting away if it wanted to. ><> |

Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info Look here for my Betta 11Gal Desktop & Placidity 5ft Community Tank Photos Keith Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do.
