Yoyo loaches would fit best in that set up I think. Another one that stays pretty small is the skunk loach. I havn't had good luck with them, they were very agressive in my tank.

If you have a larger tank or can take him back I would go for a small Clown Loach and leave him there for a few months this will him plenty of time to get all of them.

I put a small one into my 32lt Betta tank for a few months then transferred him to the big tank and not a problem and all the snails gone.

Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info

I made a thread earlier about what kind of shrimp to get. I decided to go take a risk. I got Red Claw Shrimp. http://www.petshrimp.com/redclawmacro.htmlThey are probably one the most peaceful or the most peaceful Macrobrachium species. I got them in the same tank with ottos, panda cories, SAE. They leave the fish alone. They also eat snails. They fish them out with their claws. These shrimp are sacavengers. They remind me like Ghost Shrimp a lot.

Stick to the smaller loach species such as striata or sids, but bear in mind these are shoaling fish. Clowns are a no-no for that reason.

Mature, sensible signature required for responsible position. Good prospects for the right candidate. Apply within.
