As I have always said no harm in wanting liking and getting it a totally different matter.

Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info

I've kept several blue eyed variety of rainbowfish, including the connieae I'd wager a bet to say that you could talk to a person at your LFS and they might be able to order you some in. Blue eyes are very scarce in the aquarium hobby, but eventually some do become available. I had a great time ordering fish from my LFS. Well, ok, i worked there and actually called in the fish order every week so I got the inside scoop but still Put the bug in a few of your favorite stores' ears and something just might happen

Be prepared though, these fish are very sensitive. I used r/o water that i treated with a reclaim product to get things exactly where they needed to be. They can't eat big food, so frozen brine/bloodworms will be good to have on hand. These are also great because they'll be very wary of the top of the tank at first and may not accept flakes right away. Provide plenty of cover and they do best in a species tank

Good luck!
