The rule of thumb is that every gallon weighs 10 pounds. While one gallon of water weighs 8 pounds, with an aquarium, we also figure in the substrate and any decorations and arrive at the 10lbs/gal value. If you can calculate how much substrate you will need this will help you to calculate it a lot better. Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info Look here for my Betta 11Gal Desktop & Placidity 5ft Community Tank Photos Keith ![]() ![]() Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do. But it does take the same footprint as the 20L, which all said and done probably goes about 180-200 lbs. |
