Nothing special about them as far as filtration or hardware goes. The only complaint I've had about them is that is does sometimes make it difficult to clearly see the animals inside, and they are impossible to photograph well, it seems. Hoping that there must be a word for everything I mean... |

Also make sure it is a "Glass" bow front as the plastic ones can scratch very easy. Unless you're getting a good price I don't think you gain anything with a bow tank. It's really a matter of preference, a different style like tall tanks, hexes, etc. If that's not an issue, find out what size rectangular tank you could get for the same price and compare floor space of the two. For me that's a big important issue: more floor space=more fish ~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is water at the bottom of the ocean |
