I wish I had a camera that works! My betta, Buddy is in a lovely hurricane vase from Parti-Lite, it is supposed to be a candle vase but was put into use as a betta vase when the ghost shrimp I bought to control algae seemed much more inclined to eat Buddy!
Every day at various times my long-haired grey (blue) cat Lucas comes along and 'aerates' the tank and performs a 'partial water change'.
They look so sweet because Buddy always comes up to say "HI" whenever Lucas does this!
Over the holidays I will put buddy into the 10g tank that will be his home later as soon as the rest of the fish are in it because Lucas may change too much water while I'm not here to top it up! I'm hoping Buddy will adjust to going in the tank then coming out again fow awhile while I finish adding the rest of his tankmates.
His new 'buddies' will be 2 ottos (already in) 5 or 6 harlequin rasboras, and 5 or 6 panda corys.

Just after posting this Lucas suddenly realized that Buddy is a fish and took a swipe at him!We've had Buddy in the vase since early Spring and this is the first time he's done this! I guess Buddy will be moving sooner rather later!
