Brengun Big Fish Posts: 355 Kudos: 187 Votes: 110 Registered: 22-Jun-2007 | I was only able to aquire a male endler and I have had him in with female guppies and now I have fry. I want to keep any fry which look like they are female endlers. Can anyone point me in the direction or post a pic of what one looks like? |

"why would anyone buy a thirty dollar fisht that looked so plain?" Brandeeno, male endlers are quite colorful, which is a very big reason they were hunted to very near extinction in the wild. Through careful breeding many hobbyists have been able to bring them back. However because they are very similar to guppies, and will cross breed the species is once again weakening. If anyone does keep them together I suggest they not try and sell or distribute the fry as endlers as it's false. ^_^ |

Also, i am not too much of a fan of guppies..... ><> ~=!Vote Today!=~ <>< -----> View My Dragons <----- |

Brengun Big Fish Posts: 355 Kudos: 187 Votes: 110 Registered: 22-Jun-2007 | I can get endler males on line and at the lfs. Female endlers are not available. I have tried. The only alternative is to breed the endler male to guppy females and select female offspring which resembles endler females. |
