55 Gallon Tank Shots | |
truestar Enthusiast Young Pup Posts: 233 Kudos: 92 Votes: 147 Registered: 23-Aug-2007 | When I was setting up my 55 gallon tank a few months ago I was asked to eventually post some pictures. Well, I finally got the scape the way I like it, and I got almost all of the stocking done. I don't feel like linking all the individual pictures, so I'll just post the album link. http://s245.photobucket.com/albums/gg58/truestar_92/Fish%20Pics/ I hope you like the pictures, the quality isn't that good, I have a really cheap camera. I plan on adding more plants and driftwood/rocks, I'll get more pics when I do that. If you have any suggestions or comments on the current scape or ways I can improve it, feel free to tell me. |

The fake coral, although it does give an unexpected shot of color, would look better replaced by a driftwood stump or something along that line. It's your preference that counts though, to each their own The design of the tank seems almost 'cookie cutter' perfect for cave breeding cichlids. A pair of kribs or apistos would have a REAL happy home there. Overall good job The Amazon Nut... |

I originally planned to have it in there for just a few weeks, but all the fish have seemed to take up residence in it. I did plan on having some kind of dwarf cichlid, but decided to go with an Asian theme instead. Thanks for the compliments and the idea of the driftwood stump, I'll try to find one soon. |

I only moved him there because I had a problem with him attacking the Rams in my 20 and had no where else to put him. I ran down to my ba |
