Today we tried cantaloupe for the first time. It sinks but I didn't attach it to anything. The other fish are interested, but my BN won't let any of them near it. Seems quite comfortable laying on its back, head propped on a plant and holding the melon while eating it

I wonder if I'm correct in thinking that "cantaloupe" is another name for what we call rockmelon?
I usually have this in my house so I'd love to give it a go
Great pic Theresa, and I spy a little keyhole cutie there as well

This could be a first I have not heard of that being used before. Well done

I have found they do like the softer foods.

Cantaloupe=rockmelon

This is the second sweet food I've tried. Banana was the first but wasn't very popular. Next time I'll pick up some honeydew.

What I've found to be a great source of fresh foods is the salad bar at a grocery store. I can pick up just a few pieces and it's very inexpensive.

SO cute! Aren't BN's just about as cute as cute gets? That is a very good idea for getting a variety of foods for cheap. Think I will add that to the shopping list for next time! Thanks for the idea!
