PS: if you have any tips on how I can improve my shots I'll be glad to hear from you. I am using a Sony DSC P10 for these shots.

you can't use [ img ] tags for your pics unless you become a premium member. the [ link ] tags work just fine as you can see

as for improving your pic quality, first of all you should be trying to capture the fish with tank lights, not the flash. there are too many surfaces to reflect from if you use the flash, plus it will wash out most of the pic if you're not careful. if you can move the tank light, or bring some better lighting to shine into the tank it will help, as long as you remember to turn the flash off before taking pics

Hiya Moondog,

Sorry, have not posted pictures here often so still learning the ropes. Thanks for helping me edit the post.

I suppose the tank lights are a little on the dim side. The tank maker recommended me to use these red base lights which enhance the viewing of the arowana. But my digital camera seems to be always cursed when it comes to taking shots in doors and hence the lousy pictures. I suppose the second 2 pictures are better since I switched on all the lights including my sole white light. Thanks for the tips. Will practice again.
