So, my Discus have spawned two times in 4 days, and are working on batch 3 right now.
They are a new pair I got, just got the female 14-15 days ago and they are already spawning.
Enjoy the pics!

Have those discus spawned with all that tank movement and the DW changes in location?

Well done

Keith

Keith,
Yes the first time they spawned was only a few days after I got the female, the second time was after the major water change and plant moves, and last night they laid eggs, 1 day after I moved all the DW and stuff around!
I know people say Discus are funny and tricky and sensitive, but they seem tough as all hell to me!

When I was moving the DW around, they were staying just to one side and "supervising". When I tried to put it one way, they got all upset, and turned pasty, but when I put it the way it is now, they got all dark and happy looking and starting dancing for each other. They laid eggs the next day. They seem to be very happy fish.

I would like to have some babies, but I would like to see the parents raise them. Currently my breeding pair of Angels have actually survived a batch of eggs to the wiggler stage, so maybe I will get some baby angels.

What are you doing to your tank dwellers are you slipping them fertility drugs or starting up a maternity ward.

As they say do fix it if it aint broke. What ever you are doing keep doing it. Could it be in the water from your new location, or do you play them romantic music all day?

Fantastic results.
