moondog Moderator The Hobnob-lin Posts: 2676 Kudos: 1038 Votes: 4366 Registered: 30-Sep-2002 | first make sure you are in macro mode (the flower mode). if you are, then you probably do need a better camera that can handle closeups. also look at the zoom you have. you want the largest number on "optical" zoom you can get, not digital zoom or total zoom. Then I noticed several things 1 did you take the photo from the L/H side? 2 the cory at the rear seems in better focus. 3 note the pebbles front and to the left are in perfect focus. The camera could be too slow, settings not set correctly or a combination of many other factors It is also a very small resolution. sly Big Fish Posts: 377 Kudos: 251 Votes: 0 Registered: 22-Jun-2004 | Its "fuzzy" because the shutter size must have been quite large. Notice how the gravel looks fine but the cories are "fuzzy". Set the shutterspeed (tells the camera how fast to take the pic) smaller (~1/30) but at that level, you'll need a ton of light because it takes the picture very fast which limits "exposure time". As a result, not much light is recieve by the camera and the shot is dim. |
