I got my big tank! | |
Theresa_M Moderator Queen of Zoom Posts: 3649 Kudos: 4280 Votes: 790 Registered: 04-Jan-2004 | No UGF, right now I have an AC 500 on it. That's actually only 50lbs of gravel. Stock plans are: severum blue acara jurupari Braziliensis Thorichthys aureum, 'blue flash' I'm pretty much starting with all small fish. My keyholes are 2-3", I think my acara will be the larest at ~4". She'll be going in the tank last. Now I have to decide what to do about aquascaping. I have a few terra cotta pots, fake-rock-thing, and some floating anacharis in there now so the fish aren't in a bare tank. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is water at the bottom of the ocean |

I love the pic with the 2 keyholes I got a baby Bristlenose a month ago (probably smaller than yours at about the size of an Otto) and now its grown a bit. He's pretty active for a Pleco, I would assume your baby is too. |

And, seeing as how we just signed another year lease, I don't think it will be going up any time soon! So... until then... I will be focusing on my smaller projects. As soon as I move though, the 75 is going up! Half of it is already taking up space in my attic as it is! LOL! |

Walked in to find out they were closing early, which left us ~20 minutes; no time to look at fish But we got the tank (75g), stand, filter, heaters, gravel and a nice piece of wood which is still soaking. The tank is setup and currently has 2 keyholes, 2 Laetacara dorsigera, and a new, very tiny plec Empty: With gravel, which looks pink in the pic but is a light natural mix called 'nutmeg': Keyholes (2 males I believe): L. dorsigera: Plec near heater, pic gives good size perspective: And again, with reflection: Last edited by Theresa_M at 23-Jan-2005 17:21 Last edited by Theresa_M at 23-Jan-2005 17:23 ~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is water at the bottom of the ocean |

I personally think they are easer to maintain but many might not agree with me. The first photo was very impressive, invisible water, plants & fish, you are very clever girl.
