Khuli at about 10mm from camera lens | |
keithgh *Ultimate Fish Guru* Posts: 6371 Kudos: 6918 Votes: 1542 Registered: 26-Apr-2003 | The first photo was a full size then the Khuli decided to move closer to the glass. I actually had the lens touching the glass. They had been in the tank for less than one hour when I took these photos. I was informed I might never see themm again after I introduced them. In fact one is eating a food bit from this mornings feeding. The food bit is about 1mm in size. That is the reason I bought them to do a substrate clean up. It has a Macro setting little tulip and I have a steady hand. I am seriously thinking of getting both enlarged professionally at a Melbourne Camera store Keith Last edited by keithgh at 07-Sep-2005 04:08 Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do. At the first feeding (next day) two of the three were all over the tank. I have many small stones on edge and they are just weaving in and around them all the time. Actually I had been watching them and they seem to follow a pattern, they wiggle up to a spot then stop for a few seconds. In fact one stayed for about 15 seconds as the camera did a 10second count down. Since I started typing this and I am a one finger expert the KL has not moved. I kept watching and he stayed still for another two more minutes. Keith Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do.
