Also, towards the end of part 2, i noticed one of the tinfoils flicking against the DW. That could be a sign of parasitses, so you might want to check that out. |

Definitely packing more mass than most Spanner T's I've seen! That aquarium looks as if it's a nice big one - assuming you have 10 inch long Tinfoils, then that tank looks as if it's an 8 footer - 8x3x3. Yikes, that's BIG. No problems with space for the Tinfoils in that! |

tinfoil Big Fish Posts: 438 Kudos: 252 Votes: 1 Registered: 27-Feb-2003 | the tinfoils are actually not real tinfoils (b. schwanenfeldi), but Thailand tinfoils or red tailed tinfoils (barbus altus). (there used to be an article I wrote in the articles section, but I noticed it's not there anymore) They are, however, fully grown and are some 8.5 in. long. The spanners are about the same, a little over 7 in. The tank is a 5'3" (160 cm) 152 gal. tank. (160x60x60 - 5'3" x 2' x 2' to be precisely) |
