I became a shellie addict after setting up a multi tank about a month ago. Earlier this week I ordered a pair of [link=N. brevis]http://www.fishprofiles.com/files/profiles/brevis.xml" style="COLOR: #CC3366[/link], set up a nice tank for them, and ordered some larger shells. For some reason I assumed the pair would be small, like the multies were when I got them so I just borrowed a few unused shells from their tank.

Big surprise when I opened the box yesterday to find a pair of full-size fish 'Mr' is a stocky 3" and the poor thing is having a terrible time getting into one of the shells

Looks like you will have to some home renivations/ alterations/additions or move to another location which has bigger homes.

As usual a very good photo.

Hey Theresa,

Seems to be about the same size as my brevis below. Give him a while to acclimate, once he's comfortable he'll rarely even go in that shell...
