	My first M Betta in his home
keithgh Ultimate Fish Guru Posts: 6371 Kudos: 6918 Votes: 1542 Registered: 26-Apr-2003	The colours are not actually true. It looks like a lighting problem and more practice. His colour is a more of a dark iridescent blue and a more darker red on his fins just under his body. This is the reason for having the Cardinal Tetras and the other base frame specialy made. At the moment I am setting up PhotoBucket which will show the whole job from start to finish and what every thing was based on. By your description he sounds quite similar to yours and photographs the same way. There are a couple shots of him here Looking forward to seeing the start-to-finish pictures.
