Here are two photos (not retouched at all) to show that I do have problems in my setup. I find taking them at an angle any time of the day is best. I want some thing special I will locate a special food to attract them. I have tried the room lights off but I prefer day time and patients pay off. Sitting still regually at the same spot with or with out the camera they get used to you as long as you do not make any sudden movements. I will follow the "subject" along the tank to get the photo I want. The perfect photo comes up but reflections so start all over again. I also find too close to the top of the tank can also cause problems. I will move the twin tube unit close to the front long before I start taking photos. All of these photos were taken within one hr Keith ![]() ![]() [span class="edited"][Edited by keithgh 2004-07-17 23:25][/span] [span class="edited"][Edited by keithgh 2004-07-17 23:41][/span] keithgh attached this image: [img]http://www.fishprofiles.net/attachments/398467.jpg"] Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do. Family Lutjanidae. They are generally uncommon on the great barrier reef. They don't grow much bigger than the 2 specimens we have on display in the coral atoll, about 700 mm total length. They are carnivores. Colour varies from black spots and white background, to same with bright yellow fin margins Keith ![]() ![]() [span class="edited"][Edited by keithgh 2004-07-20 02:05][/span] keithgh attached this image: [img]http://www.fishprofiles.net/attachments/399705.jpg"] Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do.
