My tanks never look the same from one week to the next so I decided to take a photo of each one.
The first shot is my 40g community tank.

Second tank is my Dwarf Gourami tank of 10g.

Third tank is my Sparkling Gourami tank of 6.4g.

Fourth tank is my shrimp tank with some guppy fry. It is only 5.4g. Can anyone tell me what the plant on the left is please? The one with the roundish leaves showing at the top.

Nice tanks Bren! You DO like plants!

Nice touch with the old ship in the background. I didn't even notice it at first.

What is at the bottom, in the back, in the middle of the 40g.? It looks like a tiny village?? Guess I'm seeing things

The battleship takes up 2/3's of the tank length and is home to 4 clown loaches. Behind it is nothing but a few plants and a 2ft airstone.
On the right beside the ship is a couple of small rocks with a piece of black slate on top to make a cave and platform for corys to sit. It doesn't show well in the photo.
What you cannot see is behind the anubias on rock cave, there is a bristlenose log along the side. I can just see inside the log if I look alongside the anubiuas on cave rock but I look on a different angle to this photo.

My backing is a plant backing which makes it look like I have heaps of plants. I only sticky taped it to the outside back of the tank, in case I want to change it in future.

The driftwood with the anubias is set back just slightly from the front glass as I had a betta wedge itself in there when it was right up against the glass and it died.
Under the driftwood there is a small cave which the khulis like to hide in.

The water lily isn't really supposed to be in there. I bought it for my outdoor pond but it didn't do well out there so now it is thriving in my 3ft tank.

Nice tanks. I am not sure what that plant is, i am gueesing it is a type of hygrophila that you just bought recently. It could be in its emmersed form still.

All the tanks look as if they are well established and have the natural look about them.

Plenty of plants certainly make a difference.

Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info

Bren , That plant looks like a Bacopa variety or a Pennywort . Hard to tell , can you get a close up and I might be able to nail it down .

Love the tanks , lots of plants which is good .
