The only larger ones i've seen round here are : Texas, green terror, oscars, convicts, severum, dempseys, parrots. But im new so any advice is great. Also how many should you add at a time. |

If there is something wrong with the fish, you want to be able to identify which ones or which batch it came from. After you add new fish wait at least a week or two before adding more. Watch the new fish closely to be sure they are healthy. If you have a quarentine tank, that would be better. You can add them to quarentine for a couple of weeks and if healthy flip them into the official "home" tank. If in a quarentine tank you can identify which one is sick and treat it without having to treat the "whole" tank, stress the other fishs, plants, and do constant water changes. I'm sure there is more I'm forgetting, but that is the most important point I can think of right now. TTFN --->Ta-Ta-For-Now Kelly ;o} |
