There's a bunch of stuff that went on, but the gist of it is that I returned my cardinal tetras and blue phantom pleco to the store, and bought eight Corydoras elegans. I also finally found a store selling Bolivian rams, so I picked up a female. Hopefully I can find a male for her. I love these fish. I also picked up some large Anubias barteri, and a bunch of Aponogeton bolivianus plants. All of these plants are doing great, in fact the leaves of the Aponogetons are already reaching the surface of the water. The tank is starting to look pretty neat. Anyways, here ya go: New gal- Lemons- Female pencilfish- The juvenile C. septentrionalis I bought a couple of months back- Another one- An elegans- The new cories never stop moving, so it's going to take a while to get some decent pics. |

And the septentrionalis is quite a show stopper too ... Thanks for telling me in the chat room that the Pencil Fish was Nannostomus unifasciatus by the way ... I know it under the old Genus of Poecilobrycon ... |

I'm getting into dwarf cichlids myself now, getting 4 german blues next sunday 1 male, 3 female. ps - the majority of bolivian rams sold in the stores are male, so finding a mate shouldn't be hard. Usually hard to find a female. Best of luck ! The Amazon Nut... |
