It's bare-bottomed 'cuz I'm cheap, and I figured they'd be okay. I'm thinking this might be an incorrect assumption, so there might be substrate in the future. -------------------------------------------- The aquarist is one who must learn the ways of the biologist, the chemist, and the veterinarian. |

When fish see another fish (their reflection) swimming (shadowing them) they get skittish. Even in a hospital tank situation with no gravel, one should always have something to prevent the reflection problem. Frank -->>> The Confidence of Amateurs, is the Envy of Professionals <<<-- |

I will also be getting some broken pottery as I've heard that this is good cover for small plecs. -------------------------------------------- The aquarist is one who must learn the ways of the biologist, the chemist, and the veterinarian. |

In any case, I have set up a new tank. Pictures of the new plecs I got for it are in the album linked in the first post. -------------------------------------------- The aquarist is one who must learn the ways of the biologist, the chemist, and the veterinarian. |

Since some of these are confirmed breeders, I don't think that's too difficult of a goal. -------------------------------------------- The aquarist is one who must learn the ways of the biologist, the chemist, and the veterinarian. |
