Nicaraguense Cichlid pic | |
RustyBlade Mega Fish Posts: 987 Kudos: 1667 Votes: 391 Registered: 23-Apr-2003 | Our Nicaraguense Cichlid "Nick" being a ham, I was actually trying to get a good shot of our new little oscar but this one hogged the limelite Nick has spent most of his life with us and his best friend is the Geophagus Braziliensis ("Killer" who you can see slightly in the background in the terracotta pot.Between the two of them they've terraformed their new 150 gal tank, down to the bare glass in some places You can also see on the left,part of the mouth of another of their tank mates, "Apollo" the white Convict cichlid.[/font] |

Thanks Keith, I was quite proud of that pic...for me it's 1 decent pic out of 1000000 that I've taken We did find something tonight that's shocked us with these two fish (nic and the brazil), they've got eggs I think I'll start a thread in the cichlid section for this one |

They are great fish with loads of personality, just don't bother with the real plants with these guys... both LOVE to excavate all day They'd go really well in that 120 BP |
