I'm not exactly sure, but I think I heard it's about 5300 square feet. do you know what kind of setup/care they require? They are amphibious, and be give ours a tank that's about 1/3 filled up, and they have branches and rocks both above and below the waterline to climb on. They seem to spend pretty much equal amounts of time in and out of the water. I don't exactly know what their ideal diet is, but I'm pretty sure that, like most other crustaceans, they are just scavengers. I just give those ones dead feeders and anacharis, and they seem pretty happy. The main thing I'm concerned about is if they are brackish or pure freshwater - that I really have no idea about. They ship them to us in freshwater and we keep them in freshwater (and they seem fine), but I really don't know what they prefer. If you want to get some, just be warned that they can pinch really, really, really hard. The manager at my store was unloading them one time, and one got ahold of him and literally pinched his thumbnail in half. I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash. |
