Pics of my new Texas cichlid | |

I am only a few pages into the manual and still trying out new things with my camera. I do feel the need for a Tripod though, the camera is heavy, and after a while, my wrists seem to hurt :%) Dallas, does this mean, that I have the Texas that gets bigger than the "Other one"? |

denver Mega Fish Mile High.... Posts: 1031 Kudos: 205 Votes: 110 Registered: 25-Jul-2000 | clowny - it depends.. ours is around 7" there abouts. considering your location, the cyanoguttatum is probably the one you have. even aroudn here the carpintis is hard to come by. |

Oh, and I can tell you know, that is in all probability Herichthys cyanoguttatus (you'd know if you had the much rarer carpintis because that's a shimmering pearlescent blue fish!) and that when that baby is grown up, he'll be around 11 inches in length. Going to be quite some bruiser when he's put on some body mass, that one! |
