I certainly like the DW it hase very interesting shapes.
This type of tank can keep you interested for some time not knowing where the next fish is going to come out of all of those twisted shapes.

Have a look in [link=My Profile]http://

Yup Robby,

I envy you for the nice pieces of driftwood. They lend height to the tank and are pretty to look at at the same time

I'm a HUGE fan of intricate, artistic bogwood pieces, so when I saw those photos, I thought "Yes, that is a GREAT aquarium" ...

Tangentially diverting for a moment, got a list of the plants in there? If you could fire up PhotoShop and annotate one of those photos with captions labelling the plants, this would be appreciated!

Is this the setup that contains the L-001 Plec that you photographed in another thread? Looks familiar in that respect.

The one regret I have at the moment is that most of the bogwood at my LFS is boring, straight bits. I like gnarled, knobbly, twisted pieces with lots of hollows and holes in them so that fishes such as Panda Corys can turn them into adventure playgrounds. I alos prefer hollow pieces because they occupy less volume immersed than solid pieces, and tend to be easier to sink when soaking them for pre-treatment prior to use in the aquarium. Some of those pieces in your aquarium look amazing - just as well we're separated by a large tract of sea or I might be tempted to steal a couple of them from you!

this is Cryptocoryne wendtii.

and this one is Anubias barteri.

I also have 3 onion plants,Water Wisteria and Green Cabomba,Contortion Val.
The rest of the plants are fake,i will remove them later when i get some new plants that i will have in the back ground and on the right side of my tank.
Yes i love those tangled woods too
all of my woods has some wholes so as the fish can play and sleep in them.
The clown loaches really like my newest addititon(the wood on the left side of my tank),today i found them sleeping in some of the wholes in that wood.
My discus like the wood on the right side and they really like to stay under that one.
"Is this the setup that contains the L-001 Plec that you photographed in another thread? Looks familiar in that respect."...yes it is..i have only one tank, but soon i will get a 120g or bigger.

Thanks for the coments

If you can get some Java Moss to grow on one of those bogwood pieces at least, that'll make for some fun when your fishes discover they have a spawning mop in there ...

I have forests of the stuff all over my bogwood. My Pandas use it as bedding, spawning medium, pick tasty food morsels out of it and generally make it their adventure playground.

You'd probably enjoy seeing your fishes do likewise in some tufts of the stuff. If it grew in your aquarium as it does in mine, however, you might curse whoever gave you the stuff, because I have a LARGE surplus of the stuff!

Lets do a trade..i will give you one bogwood that you like, and you will give me some java moss and other plants if you have.i will go to the lfs and take pictures and you can tell me which one you want.
I can't find java here so that would be cool to get some of those and i also would like some Octopus Plant and Pygmy Grass if you could find it.
