littlemousling Conchiform Posts: 5230 Registered: 23-Aug-2003 | It's 125 gallons, although the inside dimensions give it more like 135. Thanks! Here's the new 29 gal. paludarium, still has a ways to go but I think it's going to be lovely: -Molly Visit shelldwellers.com! |

littlemousling Conchiform Posts: 5230 Registered: 23-Aug-2003 | I'm keeping six Altolamprologus compressiceps "Sumbu" in there: They were in a 20 long on the same stand - because of that upgrade, I managed to change two 10 gals over to 20 longs, and the remaining 10 will be a 20 or eliminated in May. littlemousling Conchiform Posts: 5230 Registered: 23-Aug-2003 | Here's the tank they're in, Which has all those shells in it because of the shelldwellers in it, for those who apparently were wondering. The fish: a male and female Cyprichromis leptosoma "Utinta": Big Chalinochromis sp. "Ndobhoi": From a different tank, a female N. multifasciatus (I'm up to eight shellie species now, oy): Last edited by LittleMousling at 16-Mar-2005 15:16 -Molly Visit shelldwellers.com! |

littlemousling Conchiform Posts: 5230 Registered: 23-Aug-2003 | N. brevis can be combined with a lot of fish, but generally shellies don't go with non-Tanganyikans. However, that tank has a fair number of fish in it - a pair of similis and about a dozen fry, ten Cyprichromis, four Chalinochromis, and, at the moment, three N. caudopunctatus, which are moving out whenever I manage to catch them. But I intend for it to be a breeding tank - biiig group of Cyps, biiiig group of similis, family group of Chalinochromis. -Molly Visit shelldwellers.com! |
