bensaf Fish Master Posts: 1978 Kudos: 1315 Registered: 08-Apr-2004 | I got lucky. Saw the Ram attacking the Riccia and got the camera. Everyone else just started posing Maybe because they'd just stuffed themselves with bloodworms and were feeling lazy. I have one question...how do you manage to get so very clear pictures?..i have taken over 100 pics and none are like yours.may i ask what kind of camera you are using? The camera is nothing special Robby. Just a Casio, run of the mill. Choose the macro setting (the tulip). Never use the flash, only tank lights. Flash gives a startled unnatural look. Set the white balance for Flourescent. Highest quality settings on camera. Fastest speed to avoid blur. This can be achieved by increasing the ISO setting, the higher the ISO the faster the shutter speed, but try not to go too high on the ISO, more ISO more grain. Try to have the camers set and focused on the area you want to shoot (half press the button) and wait for a fish to come into that area. Takes a bit of patience and a lot of shots dumped, but you get the occassional keeper. After that when the pic is uploaded crop the picture to fr Remember that age and treachery will always triumph over youth and ability. |
