Calilasseia *Ultimate Fish Guru* Panda Funster Posts: 5496 Kudos: 2828 Votes: 731 Registered: 10-Feb-2003 | I couldn't help but fall about laughing after last night's chat room visit. After Shannen pointed everyone to this thread. I put up a link to the Monster Fish article in Practical Fishkeeping to show Cory_Di the fish that Shannen originally had in mind, and she replied with: " That looks like my last date ..." Shannen Banned Posts: 1160 Kudos: 1686 Votes: 98 Registered: 17-Feb-2004 | I don't think I'll be attempting to Hand feed it. I might loos a finger. The way it eats I would def get a finger or 5 of them in it's mouth. It lunges and sucks at the same time when it eats. No thanks Sorry no more pics. He's been in his cave since eating a bunch of guppies. I see him at night sometimes. I'm gonna see if not feeding him gets him to come out durring the day to hunt. |

Shannen Banned Posts: 1160 Kudos: 1686 Votes: 98 Registered: 17-Feb-2004 | As some of you may know I was on a quest to get a Monster Fish. I had the tank set up and was looking for one. Well Wed night I came home from work to find this surprise from Jamie. It's not a monster fish but it is close enough. I love it. It's truly a face only a mother could love. Calilasseia *Ultimate Fish Guru* Panda Funster Posts: 5496 Kudos: 2828 Votes: 731 Registered: 10-Feb-2003 | Now that is an impressive fish. Has what you might call a 'purposeful' look about it. I have to say this fellow is something else. Be a bit difficult to integrate into my Panda Fun Palace™ though |

Shannen Banned Posts: 1160 Kudos: 1686 Votes: 98 Registered: 17-Feb-2004 | Indeed it's brackish Noodles. I had a 10 gal gobby tank set up before but just added salt by measure. For this guy I ordered a specific gravity measure thing. The guy at the LFS told Jamie he would be fine in fresh water. "Uhhh yeah. We aclimated it to fresh so it will be ok. No you don't need salt." LoL Sin. I took the pic right after he got done checking out his new pad. Seems he didn't like the gravel he was kept in at the LFS. He rolled and almost seemed to be playing in the sand when I put him in. |
