We visited the [link=Virginia Marine Science Museum]http://www.vmsm.com/index.shtml" style="COLOR: #33CCFF[/link] this past weekend. Not as large as the National Aquarium, but also not as crowded. A lot of focus on local waters, Chesapeake Bay, marshes, etc.

Outside the museum a tank of seals. One of them was very friendly and would play by following our hands back and forth. There was also a tank, almost a pool actually, of rays that we could reach in and touch.

So I thought I'd share a few random shots...

I just found out that The Belle Isle Aquarium located here in Detroit is gonna close soon .

Gonna have to go see it before it closes.

Have I started some thing here by showing our Aquarium? I always consider them fantastic places to visit. Thank you for taking the excellent photos. I have also put the site in with my favourites to spend some time looking later
