Forever-mango Fish Addict Posts: 611 Kudos: 586 Votes: 35 Registered: 01-Dec-2003 | I dont know if its the right place to post this post. But, Im looking for pictures of your planted tanks to add to my personal website (http://MangoPlants.cjb.net). If the pictures are used, full credits would be given to the owner. Just a note: The website just begun a few days ago, but should be finished soon...I hope. Regards Mango (aka Steve) Last edited by mangor34 at 18-Apr-2005 09:50 |

keithgh *Ultimate Fish Guru* Posts: 6371 Kudos: 6918 Votes: 1542 Registered: 26-Apr-2003 | OK I will try to answer all Questions but first Have a look in [link=My Profile]http:// www.fishprofiles.com/interactive/forums/profile.asp?userid=6741" style="COLOR: #00FF00[/link] for my tank info This might answer some questions. That photo is over 12months old I think it is the photo I used to win the Aquscape. If it had not been for MD I would have never entered it as I thought it was not up to a good standard SIS Yes they are all Anubias except a few cripts at the front LH end. Type unknown my LFS is also an importer and possibly has more contacts than most LFS. He always has large Anubias plants some at the rear of the tank would be well over one foot in length. They are just sitting there there is also two large fine airstones blowing bubbles through them. As far as I know I have at least four types on Anubias there from the very small plant and leafed to those big ones at the back. Algae not a problem now was once but I cut down on plant food to 2.5ml once a week. Look at profile to see all the algae eaters. Several of the smaller mid size are close to 9ins as well. I also have several small pieces floating when they get bigger I will tie them to more rocks for the front. fishguy That is one thing I spare no expense on I would have a big $$ in all thoise plants and fish I now have a 4ft twim light unit on the 5ft tank no actual light for 6ins each end, remembering light tapers outward. Both Sera one daylight and one plant both Aust$30. I also have a plant lights in my mini hot house for my orchids they are $75+ each. Some might say I buy my lights at XXX very cheap well that is their chioce I prefer the better quality and the correct type. These are replaced every two years to get the maximium efficiency out of them. Note some of the smaller anubias basically get very little light. The DW at the RH end is totaly covered in the larger small variery. I think I have answered all the Questions please excuse any spelling mistakes Keith Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do.
