	apple snail closeups

Were they taken with the "supa macro"/ Fantastic clear photos they show up all the fine details. Now I know what to look for. moondog Moderator The Hobnob-lin Posts: 2676 Kudos: 1038 Votes: 4366 Registered: 30-Sep-2002	keith, yes it was super macro mode. these albino snails are much easier to photograph than the dark snail i have. for one thing, they are pretty translucent, so i don't need any extra light for them. i have a couple pics of the dark-bodied snail, but the camera couldn't focus on it very well "That's the trouble with political jokes in this country... they get elected!" -- Dave Lippman

In Australia we don't have anything in the lfs labelled as "apple snail" I thought we didn't have 'em. I was wrong though. We do have them, they just are called "snails", very inventive aren't we?] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~ My fish blow kisses at me all day long ~~~
