Inspired by keithgh I decided to try feeding banana today for the first time...

Very popular with my angel, platies, and loaches:





Meanwhile in the other tank none of the fish have actually eaten it, although my blue acara has been vigilantly guarding it:

Hey I was wondering what that metal loop you put on there to weight the slices down was, type of metal?

I use a spare glass thermometer to insert the banana through it.

For the banana, as well as cucumber and zucchini, I use a plant weight to hold it down.
