I'm so excited, only twice have I found eggs from my fish-cories-and they always ended up being eaten.

I was taken a bunch of pics of my 75g today and didn't notice the bunches of eggs from my blue acara in 'her' pot until I was resizing the photos. What a surprise, and no wonder she's been guarding the pot so well. It's just too bad she doesn't have a mate...maybe it's time to go fish shopping

LOL how sweet She's obviously very happy in her home and she's giving you a bit of a hint there
We've had a Geophagus brasiliensis that did that too, in a clay pot as well but she fancied a nicaraguensis at the time
Well done and please let us know how you go finding her a mate

Are the eggs infertile (correct wording I think) or was she in a previous tank with her hubby?

If that is the case do you know what the fathere looks like.

Anyway good luck at being a mother again.

Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do.
