After about 3 hours, I finally got it done yesterday afternoon. I am a beginner when it comes to aquascaping so it's probably not great. It looks much better than it did before. Here is a before picture...with a few fake plants and a couple real plants. Very unorganized and thrown together. Here is the after picture. What do you think? Remember I am a beginner and wasn't sure where to place plants. I do know which plants to place in the fore, mid, and backgrounds though. That is dwarf chain sword in the front. It is taller than I thought it would be though. I just put the different shades and colors together. Last edited by GirlieGirl8519 at 01-Dec-2005 22:23 |

I would like to see some more photos in several months time when the plants have established themselves. Regardless of the Aquscape the photography is very good and clear. I will definitely post pics when everything has developed and grown more. I am so excited. I like it alot better than before. |

Taking photos of a fish tank is extremly hard but I personally think you are way past the beginner in that field. What it required was a little croping and touch up using Photo Shop. I am now using PhotoShop Elements 4 it is not very expensive as it has a very good system for working, storing and sorting out all your photos. I really need a good photo program. I have never used that version of photo shop, but i used to work for an online business that used the very expensive version of photo shop (not sure what its called though). I wished I had that when I worked there because it was so good. I think I have seen the Elements version in a store before. I will check into to getting that. With the touching up you did, the picture looks much better. My camera has a closeup mode and that is what I used to take those pictures. I don't use a flash, only the tank lights in a dark room. I learned that trick on this website. I need a tripod because most of my pictures are blurry from me moving. Thanks again! Kristin |
