Young spotted sailfin:

Odessa barb; active dither fish with fanastic coloring:

Geophagus jurupari (and krib); this little one had a rough start. It was ~1" long when purchased and soon after developed a bad case of fin & tail rot. Its dorsal and tail were basically gone and I didn't think it would survive. I moved it to a 5g hospital, gave it lots of TLC, and now it's doing great:

Thorichthys aureus:

First meeting of firemouth and green terror:

The Odessa is charming but the Geophagus is what tempts me. Good thing they're not compatible with any of my fish, or I'd have one in a flash. Yours is going to be lovely - good work saving him!

Amen, mousling. I love eartheaters in general-they're probably my favorite cichlid group.

Not knowing any thing about any of those fish all I can say they all have beautifull colouring and markings.

great looking fish Theresa...it seems you and I have very similar fish interests. I was going to say the same "taste in fish" but that just didn't sound right

you must keep posting pics of the T. aureus. Can't wait to watch it color up.
