Tried feeding pasta for the first time...

The keyholes really loved it, only problem was they'd try to take it to the back of the tank to eat:

Krib was apprehensive at first but joined in:

My blue acara guarded it for a while before trying, she did the same with the banana:

Haven't put a food in this tank that the guppies and platies won't eat:

Seems like they all like pasta

I know human beings and fish can co-exist peacefully.

Maybe they thought they were oversized worms or something.

Anyway, good to know. I'm always looking for a good way to diversify my fishes' diets without having a cabinet full of expiring traditional foods.

That is one food I would never try as it is basically a white flower product. I will not eat it myself, but I will eat the wholemeal varieties.

Any way great photos it like they liked it any way.

I thought things like pasta and bread were bad for fish since it swells so much

i thought it was because they don't normally eat things like "filler" you're probably thinking of birds and rice

if you feed birds/fish uncooked rice or pasta it's bad for them because it will swell up. but if it's already cooked, it won't swell up much more than it already is, so it's not as bad
