This is my severum who I've had since Jan of this year, he was about the size of a quarter when purchased. Has quite a good personality and is definitely a 'pet' fish. The spouse was hand-feeding him last night when I took these pics

Thanks, he definitely has some fantastic markings & coloring, especially after he's eaten. And he does quite a great feed-me-I'm-starving dance whenever he sees the spouse or I

Those are gold barbs...he's actually in my 29g right now. He was getting terribly beaten up by my Cuban in the 75g; his fins were a mess & it got to the point where he wouldn't come out of his corner to eat so I pulled him out. He's doing soooo much better now

Special thing with most cichlids is that they show you how happy and healthy they are by their colours.
You've obviously made one severum a very happy chappy then, well done
