I saw this for sale at Arizona Aquatic Gardens.

Do you think the $30 they're asking is reasonable? Have you seen this type of thing available anywhere else, lfs or online?

Thanks

Something that size at my lfs would run $20 at the most. I personally wouldn't buy a $5 plant and $5-8 peice of driftwood for $30. Plus there's shipping, right?

Total rip-off, i went to my lfs about 2 weeks ago and the gold suam had riped a bigger anubias of a tiny bit of wood(originally $39.50). i bought the anubias for $7, came back 3 days later and bought a much bigger bit of driftwood for $10. i got a heaps better bit of wood with my plant for a grand total of $17

That's about the going rate, but still a rip off. Its very easy to get anubias to root to driftwood.
Also, unless AZ Gardens has something special that you can't get anywhere else, this place http://www.aquariumgarden.com/ has similar prices (maybe a tad higher), but their shipping is much more reasonable.

As others have said, that's way too pricey.

Also, unless you just want one anubias on one little piece of wood, there isn't much you can do with it beyond plunking it in the tank as-is. I prefer having the flexibility to position things exactly the way I want them.

Hoping that there must be a word for everything I mean...
