Hi there, I have 3 Aponos, 1 Crispus]http://www.tropica.com/productcard.asp?id=083[/link], and 2 [link=Ulvaceus.

I have seen the Crispus' third leaf start to curl, and the first is extremely curled. The Ulvaceuses are curling too! Im guessing i have a lack of nutrients, and probably dont have micro nutrients. Any one know what is happening? I dont want to lose any of them, they seem so cool!

Hi,
Here is a site that should help you decipher what your
plants are telling you:

Thanks again Frank!

I dont know why there is a deficcency, as i am fertilizing the Aponos with Flourish, and that contains calcium and boron. At least that is what the deficcency looks like.

Heres a drawing of my tank and its Apono leaves Here

A drawing of the leaves....Bad leaves

Is this serious?

Hi goby,
We are really going to need a picture to be more
accurate. I would trim off the offending leaf and
see how the plant does.

Hi again!

Sorry, i dont have any photos of it right now, as they started to curl after i took the pictures of the tank. I am really thinking it is an iron/boron defficiency that is causing it, and the new leaves have a kink in them. Actually i have a picture of the leaves, but they arent as curled or kinked yet. I hope this helps!

Please Help! Is there any way that it can be fixed? I just dont want them to die.

The only problem is that the aponos are quite small, and might die? Also, practically all the leaves are like this now! Do you think it can be cured?
