CrimsonaX Hobbyist Posts: 130 Kudos: 57 Registered: 30-May-2007 | Yes, it's grown rapidly ^^; I was wondering how much of it is fine to trim off, as in how far down the main stem. Also whats the best way to trim them? Plucking it off or using a good clean pair of scissors? |

You can snip off the top couple of inches and plant the tops elsewhere in the tank. Or you can snip the plant in half and do the same thing. The original ba surface. Then you can trim it again. Eventually, after several trimmings, the original plant ba that point, I'd pull the plant and replace it with a new top from one of the others. Before I would plant them I would let them float for a few days. Also when planting the new cuttings make sure there is stem only if there are any side shoots (not fine roots) they will rot and will possibly not grow or start to polute your tank with dead plant material.
