But if you want to remove them manually then give it a little pull. If they pull off in you fingures then they where ready to come off. But if you pull them a little and they realy dont want to come off even though they are brown i would say leave it they will come of on there own. |

I do remove them from the tank. There is no sense in leaving dead leaves on the substrate as it will increase your nitrate reading and can be unsightly.
