Water parameters? Chances are the plant is lacking something, we can't figure out what that is until we know more about the plant and it's environment. They are slow growers and have a habit of 'melting' when first introduced to the tank, they stop doing this once they've become established in the tank. Just pull off the affected leaves and make sure part of the knubby root is sticking out of the substrate. That is the bulb or corm or what ya call it, it needs to be out of the gravel a bit or the plant will eventually rot away. The other thing it could be if it does not have a knubby part is it could be an amazon sword, in which case it may not be getting enough light/food. What are you feeding and how often? Go here to Tropica and see if you can find it, either under echinodorous blehri or cryptocorne wendtii 'green'. Let me know which it is. Is this in the new tank you have just set up if so all the conditions might not be right for it? Have you got the correct lighting? What are you using and for how long per day.? Plant food what type and how often? The only plant product I know that would work that fast would be plant weed killer I dont think you will find a plant food made today that will give instant results like you are expecting. Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info Look here for my Betta 11Gal Desktop & Placidity 5ft Community Tank Photos Keith Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do.
