It appears to be some kind of green algae... possibly genus Cladophora or Pithophora.

Scroll/read down through this article until you reach
the Cladophora algae, and look at the pictures.
In looking at the picture that you posted, it would seem
to be Cladophora algae and I agree with Superlion.

cool thanks guys and gals ,,honestly i thought it was pretty cool to find a apple snail looking like cousin it hopfully my bn plecos and my tank cleanings can clear him up a bit
kinda odd he was the only one that looked like that

mayve try to pull some of it off manually in a bowl of some tank water?

that is odd, none of my snails have ever had algae like that on their shells!
