Maybe it died of shock from being stuck on the filter inlet or something in your other tank wasn't right. I will be watching this thread as I have a Java fern with 6 new plants on it and I would like to keep them for a piece of DW I want to add to the tank when I have some fern to put on it. |

I only every tie with 15lb nylon fishing line. The reason is the Java Fern is a very slow grower and the nylon does not rot away. I tie the leaves as well.
